Being quad dominant can lead to overuse and potential injury of the quadriceps, while being glute dominant can lead to better overall lower body strength and stability. It is important to have a balance of strength and activation between the quadriceps and gluteal muscles to prevent imbalances and reduce the risk of injury. **
